Bardia Wildlife Tour

Program Itinerary:

Day 01. Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport where our representative will meet you and transfer to Hotel. Welcome drinks and refresh in the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02. Kathmandu City Sightseeing Tour
Breakfast in the morning. Then after visit the major sightseeing highlights of Kathmandu Valley reflecting culture & tradition, historical importance, art & architectures. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03. Kathmandu – Nepalgunj - Bardia
After breakfast, you will drop at the domestic airport for your flight to Nepalgunj or drive to Nepalgunj. On arrival at Nepalgunj airport Hotel representative will receive you and transfer to the Resort. OR, alternatively, we will arrange the pick up service from Lucknow as well and drop you in Resort at Bardia National Park.  Check in Resort with welcome drinks and check in room for refreshment. Lunch in the hotel and then we will proceed out for village tour to a ethnic Tharu village, chance to learn more about the culture and life style of Tharu inhabitants. Short briefing in our following day’s program and dinner.

Day 04. Full Day Exploration in Bardia National Park
Breakfast.
Elephant Back Safari. An excellent opportunity to get the lifetime experience on the Elephant Back and to see the Wildlife of The Park. Visit to Visitor Center, Crocodile Breeding Center & Tharu Cultural Museum.
Lunch.
Jungle Walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the Tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker.
The day and following days are excellent photographic opportunities of several wildlife species found in the parks include tiger Panther, one - horned rhinoceros, Asiatic wild elephant, swamp deer, Gangetic dolphin, striped Hyaena, four horned antelope and Chinese pangolin. Similarly, the protected birds recorded in the park - Giant Hornbill, Black Stork, Sarus Crane, Bengal Florican and Lesser Florican. Gharial gangeticus and phyton molurus are reptiles in the similar category. In addition, large population of spotted deer, hogs deer, barking deer and wild boar together with avian - herpeto fauna and invertebrates enrich the biological diversity of the park. In addition to the resident species, several migratory birds also visit the park.

Day 05. Tiger Tracking & Jeep drive
Breakfast.
The day begins the program with Tiger Tracking & Bird watching. An excellent opportunity to see a Royal Bengal Tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia.
Lunch.
Jeep Drive. An excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home.
Dinner & overnight at Hotel.

Day 06. Rafting & Bird watching
Breakfast.
Visit to the crocodile breeding center and search for water birds along the way. Then after drive to rafting Point and start rafting. It is Wild Sightseeing Rafting; this program has been introduced to show you the wildlife from the different part of the park. We will be stopped in several feasible places and will be taken inside the jungle for the wildlife. An excellent opportunity for bird watching. Pack Lunch will be provided during the tour.
Dinner & overnight at Resort.

Day 07. Departure
An early morning visit to the Karnali River for Dolphin sightseeing. Back to the resort and have breakfast. Then after departure from resort to the airport for flight back to Kathmandu or drive onward destination.
